WOW. that is a huge picture! It features the TRX, which is one of my favorite workout tools. You can vary intensity, modify easily without anyone knowing, plus work your core the whole time. TRX is usually done "interval" style, which alternates periods of high intensity with periods of low intensity or rest. Intervals teach your body how to burn calories through a different process than its' used to. Your body must learn how to re-supply the energy quicker, therefore using energy in a different way. It also makes the body "work" harder for the next 4-5 hours to replenish your energy supply. So, it doesn't increase your metabolism necessarily- it just forces your body to use a different energy system than its' used to. CNN put out a great article about the 5 myths of metabolism.
