ABOUT THE GYM
Mantra Fitness provides guidance in weight management, strength training and improvement in health status for clients of any fitness level. We offer different training modalities like TRX and total body conditioning as well as yoga.
We specialize in fitness and nutritional teaching for beginners and morbidly obese clientele. Emphasis is put on injury prevention and the most effective exercises geared toward client's goals. One-on-one sessions at the gym or at a client's location ensure the focus is on the client and the client's goals. As a Registered Nurse, Jess (owner) can set up personalized nutrition consultations as well as coaching to keep people motivated and engaged to reach the goals they have. In home consultations can be arranged with nutrition counseling and fitness sessions moved into the home setting if the client desires.
The owner, Jessica Glaser, has lost over half her body weight, and kept it off for 20 years now. There is no magic pill, no easy route for goal completion. Just as you would change your body shape or a habit, you must change the way you think about yourself to change your world. Repetitive words or phrases we tell ourselves are called Mantras.
